Gas Utilization
Supplier for Electrical Engineering
The Bouri GUP Base Case 42% CO2 consist of a gas recovery module (GRM) being installed on the DP4 platform alongside a series of essential brownfield modifications and upgrades to both DP3 and DP4. Raw gas taken off the DP3 separator will be transferred to DP4, via a new 14″ x 8km Inconel clad pipeline. The pressurized raw gas from DP4 is transferred to Sabratha platform (via a new 10″ x 20km carbon steel pipeline) for onward export to Mellitah onshore plant via an existing 36″ x 110km pipeline.
The main drivers and targets of this project are:
- ZERO PROCESS FLARING BOURI Field within 2025.
- VALORIZATION of associated gas of Bouri and maximize the recovery of Bouri reserves.
- MAXIMIZE use of previous studies and past experience of the Project.
- ASSURE proper QRA Risk level on DP4.
MAXIMIZE use of equipment/material already procured as company provided Items during the original BGUP project.
